This is a special 3-day workshop which will allow Peter & Tom to work with you on what YOU are looking to develop! Delivered through a mixture of duo-demonstrations, critiques and discussions, you will be in the studio with other like-minded artists, all working on strengthening their own individual skills and producing successful paintings.

Perhaps the biggest aim of this workshop is to help you develop your own creative compass; a way of thinking about your work that helps guide your painting journey.

Not a rigid map with a fixed destination, but a compass that evolves as you do.

One that gives you a stronger sense of direction and purpose each time you paint, whilst leaving plenty of room to play, experiment and discover.

In fact, those moments of exploration are often what refine your compass even further.

As artists, we never really stop learning. The question simply changes. We move from asking "How do I paint this?" to exploring "What kind of artist am I becoming?"

Our hope is that you'll leave not only with stronger paintings, but with greater clarity, confidence and a deeper understanding of your own creative direction.

2 unique perspectives - Peter and Tom will both share their thoughts, ideas and approaches to painting in a variety of painting mediums (including oil, acrylics, watercolours and gouache) whilst discussing and exploring their differences and creative potential.

Any and all subjects, styles & mediums very welcome!!

This course is suitable for dedicated and regular painters who want to devote time to develop their creative practice and artworks with expert guidance, support & encouragement on hand.

During the course, you will also cover;

• How to effectively critique and evaluate your own (and others) artwork
  
• Techniques on how to ‘read’ art and understand what makes a successful painting
  
• Strategies on producing work that is lead by creative intention and feeling, not just copying
  
• Finding and developing your own authentic style
